I've been to the new library, it's very nice. I like the power plugs that they have in all the tables. I go there to charge up my laptop. I'm visiting my sister and her husband's place right now, helping them set up the old laptop that I gave them.

Actually, they're about the same. I still haven't started that telephone job yet. Things are slow, so they aren't training new hires yet. It was nice visiting with them, and having dinner. Peanut butter sandwiches and cold ramen gets pretty old.

I've ordered books online from Goodwill discount books. I actually happend upon them while browsing for books on Amazon. I got a few textbooks from them when I was in school.. I don't know if they are in the greatest area though.. but you might want to look into it if you're looking for second-hand books..

GoodWill Discount Books 1280 W. Cheyenne Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89030

i think the website is www.goodwilldiscountbooks.com or they might have a store on amazon.

The library on Flamingo just east of Maryland Parkway has an excellent used bookstore with great prices. I bought four hardcover books for $1 each recently, and I was surprised by the variety in selection.

Default Library Used Bookstores

I'm horribly addicted to used book stores and am going through withdrawals. Can someone tell me where a good used book store is anywhere on the West side?[/quote]

Library Book Stores/Sales are another source for used books . Check these locations : Las Vegas Clark County Library District, Henderson District Public Libraries and North Las Vegas Library District for Bookstore/sale information/schedules.
