Those are the first apts I was directed to way back when I first moved to Las Vegas. Back then, they were called La Tierra apts. They are nice, but quite small. So did not rent there. My couch was a giant sectional that would never make it through the door, plus all my other furniture would never have fit.
There have been many people telling how those apts have gone downhill, and this was before the re-name. I think to have a good experience at any apt, you have to have a good on-site management company, one that fixes things when needed, doesn't intrude on your life all the time, and fixes problems when neighbors get to be too much.
Having on-site roving security also helps, plus getting to know your neighbors so you can all watch out for each other.
Those apts are close to a lot of shopping, a couple of casino's, restaurants, etc. Not far from Desert Breeze park.

Allanza at the Lakes has a improved tremendously over the last couple of years installing gates, upgrading their units and they currently have full time security. The prices are great and the special they are running right now is the best in town. I went all over Vegas trying to find a better deal and coundn't.
They have a $99 move in and I don't pay rent until April 1. When I got there they entered me in a drwaing for 1 year Free Rent. I know my chances to win are slim but it was cool that they were doing that. Oh and they paid for the moving truck. I took one of there upgraded units with granite countertops and stainless appliances for only $850 for the two bedroom. I saw the same unit just down the street for almost a $1000 and no truck.
I don't know if the person who commented above went to see them but I think it's pretty roomy, theres a huge tub and the person I dealt with Betty was really sweet. She took us all over the property to find the right apartment.

I'm the person that commented above. I did see them in person when I was first moving to Las Vegas. I'm sure they have changed with the upgrading to granite countertops, etc. They are obviously under new management.
The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit we were shown long ago was very small. I had at the time a giant overstuffed sectional, and it would not even fit through the door and the livingroom was tiny. But the apts were nice like I said above.
