Doubt it. Maybe it's the way the media portrays Mexico but it seems like it's a breeding ground for savage violence lately. The drug cartels are going to war with each other and the government.

Changing the subject again for a moment...
Ended up in one of those stupid religious arguments with my niece this time. She was trying to get people to be saved because they will go to hell otherwise. lol. I replied that hell is a made up place that church pastors use to control their sheeple flock. She told me that hell is real, and I'd better get saved before it's too late and she will pray for me. I told her and everyone else that if they want to pray for me, pray for me to win the lottery.
What do I have to do, unfriend my entire family? They seem to be all like that, all the one's left in California anyway. And a holy roller in Texas that never stays in touch. If I had to live near any family ever again, I would choose my husbands family in Michigan. They are Catholic, never try to push their idea's or value's on anyone and accept you as you are. And I like them so much more.

When I first visited America nearly 25 years ago, I was in Ohio. I turned the TV on Sunday
morning, I was surprised to see a lot of channels with religious content. I watched a while
and I realised just how important religion is to many Americans. Much more than here. We
don't have this in England. There are a few channels like that here on pay TV, but as far as
I can tell, they're coming in from America. Very few people go to church here. It's just dying
a slow death. Muslims of course go to the mosque, but so called christian's rarely go to church.

During that same trip in 1988, I was stood waiting for a bus to take me to Atlantic City.
This guy also waiting started to talk to me. Within minutes he was pulling religious leaflets
out of his bag, going on at me, and getting himself in a lather. It was quite alarming. I
did'nt know what to say to him to calm him down. I did'nt want to be rude - I'm English!!
Luckily, a lady saw my problem, came over, and said "oh, there you are" and pulled me
away.

Pink no one should push their beliefs on anyone. Tell her to mind her own business. Go out drinking, gambling and get yourself a hooker, that'll show her.

I will pray that you win the lottery. Please let me know if it works. It will be the first prayer I have ever had answered and I will become a believer :-)

If I picked up a hooker for the night, she would be cleaning my house, and won't be leaving until it's sparkling! That's about all the uses I have for them. Ask my husband though, and he would find other uses for her. lol
