Anyone ever go through that masochistic exercise on getting on Realtor.com and curiously find out what similar houses are selling for in your neighborhood?

I stopped doing that, over a year ago, it was too depressing, and where did my curiosity take me to tonight?

It just hasn't sunk in yet: ignorance is bliss!

More thought-provoking street names from the Sat. Real Estate section in the LV Review Journal, of homes recently sold.

Zip: 89012/1365 Enchanted River Drive: $685,000 (So buying a house along a river here is only for the rich???)

Zip: 89031/12 Delighted Avenue: $146,000 (One of these days I'm going to drive out there, knock on doors, see how delighted they are living there!)

Zip: 89052/2267 Nashville Avenue: $172,000 (Those relocating here from Nashville?)

Zip: 89052/2485 Citrus Garden Circle: $127,000 (One of these nights I'm going out there to pick/steal fruit!)

Well, in less than 48 hours we'll be on the plane to Las Vegas. Back among my favourite
people - Americans. My hair is trimmed, my nails are cut, just the packing to do now.
If any of you are on Fremont Street of an evening from the 19th for two weeks. and
you hear an English voice, turn your head, it may be us. Look for a head of thick white
hair, a faded, but still nice face, and a figure still trim despite the years. But, that's enough
about me. Judy has dark hair, and wears a necklace of pearls.

I will be down on Fremont street sometime on the 26th. So if anyone see's someone with shocking pink hair, a micro mini and long shapely legs, it won't be me!
