Down here in Florida, Publix has the best customer service and they pay around $8-$9 an hour, I made $9.15 when I left
Albertson's has all but left Florida with the exception of enough locations to count on one hand. They were union however, and even though their employees were paid much better than Publix ($11+), service there was AWFUL! Thats why I shopped at Smith's when I was in Las Vegas
If Winco is union then customer service will be so-so. Chains that arent union seem to have happier employees and better customer service
And to Pink, an AM/PM at Decatur/215 had been planned there for a good while now hadnt it? Isnt there a sign around there saying one will be built?

It's already in progress. Sure took them long enough to start building on that side of the street. Plus another shopping center is planned for that side. I wish they would give us our own Trader Joe's and or/a Whole Foods. Gets tiring having to drive over to Summerlin for the closest one.

It seemed like the entire time I lived in Vegas, the Target at Decatur/215 was always so dead inside, almost as much as the one at 215 and 5th St
I also think that was planned to be a big shopping center am I right? I noticed the parking lot was HUGE surrounded by dirt in places almost like stores were meant to be built there, I assume the economy stopped that from filling up?

Getting to be a deadly month around town for drivers and pedestrians
Left this morning to see Aliante parkway had a serious crash in front of Smith's which didn't affect me but then saw 215 eastbound was closed at 5th Street due to a fatal crash at Losee. Bad enough had to detour but 5th Street is closed for construction with no detour signs
Had to navigate a neighborhood to get to Bruce Street to rejoin Craig.
Came back home on westbound 215 and saw the familiar cones and crime scene van at 215 eastbound again involving a motorcycle just past Losee some 5 hours later. Does anyone know if there were 2 fatals today on 215?
