Don't worry, I have learned my lesson. It has now been 6 years since my DUI, and after being jailed, stripped naked, put on suicide watch, fined, etc, I can honestly say it will never happen again. I went out early this morning for grocery shopping and beer, and even know I was totally sober, I felt guilty for driving since I was very tired as I had my alarm set at 6 AM. Regardless, because of my agoraphobia (thanks Kimba), I have to do it to avoid too many people around me.

Not in my Ford Escort, that is for sure.

Ha Ha!

Um; we'll rent a nice car--naturally.

I still recall pedestrians near Bill's Saloon parking structure giving us a WIDE berth when they would see us 2 deviants laughing at them while one of us was behind the wheel and we needed to get through the crowd to park that little f*cking beast of a car!!!

lol

I read this in November '11.

"SPECIAL ATTENTION: If you know someone looking for manual labor and willing to work the oilfields of Williston, North Dakota, they are hiring big time: Oilfield workers, police, fire, town clerks, school teachers, hospital workers and truck drivers - they are looking for 500, yes 500 truck drivers with CDL licenses at $80,000.00 a year. Walmart and restaurants too are hiring like $15.00 an hour.
If you can stand the cold and winter - it might be doable for some."

Who is game?

Not me!! Come October I am back in Florida. No cold winters for me.

Though LVD can vouch for the following; come June I can't live in Vegas--Dante's Inferno!

Still remember a night in '96 in August. 107 degrees @2:25am in while @The Mirage. That's cooking.

peace

You could live in Las Vegas through the summer if you Lived like me. I simply stay home during the daytime and enjoy the A/C. Now I can say anytime for that matter as I only leave the house for 1 hour each week. It really is not that bad. Even if I had to be outside, I would much rather spend the summer in Las Vegas than spend the winter in North Dakota. As a native of Phoenix, I can deal with excess heat better than the cold. In saying that, I hate both extremes.

I think two of them will end up like in this video. Even I think this is a little too big for my front yard.

Fun! You seem like a great dad. I love the play by play sunflower pictures earlier...hilarious to see a sunflower in a Las Vegas yard.

If anyone is contemplating moving to Williston, ND, I highly recommend reading the North Dakota forums first, and do a search for Williston only.
I've read many of those threads out of curiosity. Even at $15 an hour at Wal Mart, and paying exorbitant rent, you'd be worse off than staying here!

Central Iowa is already too far north. No way I'd got to North Dakota!

Thanks. Neighbors and even people not from the my street have been stopping by to snap a photo or ask where I purchased them. They find it hard to believe that I grew them from seeds.

Almost 100% open.

I would think LV is the best place to grow one with all the sun! Pretty cool! The people across the street, here in MI, grow them in their front yard. They are not that big yet (still one of them is pretty darn tall) probably due to not that much sun here.

Finally a local hit a jackpot here. 2.2 million at the Orleans. Only the third time Money Madness has ever hit.
