Doesn't matter what anyone says about Vegas, I'm on my way! Looking forward to the weather, December or July.

Would like an area (home) that's about 30 - 40 mins from Las Vegas, plenty of space. By space I mean, I'll be wonderfully happy with the nearest neighbor being miles away. If there's anyone on here that's knowledgeable about the area and can provide me with honest information, that would be the greatest!

Thanks much in advance to everyone for your effort

In the area of Kyle Canyon Rd near the 95 freeway, there are VERY FEW homes, perhaps one is for sale if not, there have been signs of land for sale in the area where you can build your home.

You prepared to live off grid? There are such places.

Miles is tough...even in Pahrump...maybe in Amagorsa.

Well spaced can be done in the NW or Kyle Canyon.

Yum! All I have growing right now is parsley, asparagus, thyme and chives. Everything else is dormant and I skipped the cool season planting this year. I might have time to tuck in some radish seeds while it's still fairly cool outside.

I love broccoli (as in your photo). Did you do a companion of cauliflower?

I did plant cauliflower but they are not doing as well. Mostly because they receive more shade than direct sun light. Next time I will know better.

My wife pulled this out this morning. Almost 2 feet long.
