With all due respect, I can assure you that offenders as young as 14 have done and are doing time in this state. I have supervised them directly. That said, I understand your point about judging a book by it's cover and I agree.

For someone that drove on the Motorways of England, back in the late 80's, on vacation, and speeding along at 110MPH in a Vauxhall, and even though I do very little driving anymore, this is still good news!

Oh, I am absolutely sure you are correct, not just in Nevada but in a lot of places. That said, a lot of those teenagers tried as DON'T look anything like the subject of this thread.

Whether the subject of this thread has a juvenile record is something that may well come out later. If he had done "prison" time before he was 18, though, he'd still be there.

Yeesh, not for me. Not only do I doubt my abilities to handle a vehicle at 85 plus, I'm not sure my little car could take it for an extended period of time.

Back in the day, we used to drive that stretch from Vegas to Mesquite, wide open road, let it go. The area through the gorge to St. George we would slow down to 85 or 90. I had a Shelby Mustang.

Why did I get rid of that car? Oh... No room for a baby seat.... Sigh.

I don't think they are the "same" gloves.

That brought back a funny (now) memory. When first married, our only car was a Porsche coupe. I developed a back problem stuffing our firstborn into a baby seat in the back seat. We had to buy a second car.
