Just did my taxes with H&R Block and I'm getting $200.00 less than I did last year. Where is the tax break again for those who voted the clown in office? My W4 deductions on my paycheck remain the same, I claim 0 so I'll get more refund but I guess not. My wages just went up by a tiny margin, (COL raise basically). I filed the same way as last year, oh well!

I don't believe you. Either your tax preparer is an idiot, or you're lying. Everyone I know that has filed this year has gotten more back or had to pay in less. I made more and got back more.

I also hate Trump because he tried to take away my Medicaid that I got under the Medicaid expansion. That has nothing to do with the topic of taxes since they went down. It is impossible to pay more when the rates went down. I usually pay right around $400 a year in Federal since I claim exempt to get bigger paychecks. This year it is only $173. Something is not right with your taxes going up, impossible unless you made substantially more this year than prior years.

H&R Block idiots, I don't think so, online tax preparation is the most efficient one there is and last time I check, H&R Block has a market cap of over $5 Billion and they have been in business since 1955. They can afford to program their online business with the best minds out there.

Two ways you can do taxes online, do the standard deduction or the itemized deduction. Then you can compare, tax preparation services online will then recommend which one will net the higher refund.

Oh I've done it the same way I've been doing my taxes and by the way I'm an Auditor by trade.
These clowns are up in arms when I mentioned my refund is lower this year by $200, imagine if I said my refund this year is considerably down compared to last year and amounting to $20,000 less.

By the way my friend who does his taxes with H&R Block is also getting less this year. IRS before they can even approve the tax statements online will check your tax info. Any one digit wrong and it will be rejected and sent back informing you the discrepancy. Once the discrepancy is fixed only then will the IRS approve and accept your tax returns.

Oh and my friend voted for the clown in office, when I asked him where is the tax break, he won't even say a word!

I stand by my statement.
Your preparer is an idiot or you're lying. Since you have a strong liberal bias my money is on you're lying. You don't want to admit that Trump did something right. I don't care for the guy but I love me a tax cut.

Oh and the other people who are reading your post who are not Democrats nor Republicans will see your post as very JUVENILE. Hey this is Clark County, NV and you're representing it well. Hahahaha! Tschau!

I don't know about that. 2 other people disbelieve you as well. Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of the tax code knows that it's impossible to pay more tax if all your variables stayed the same or very close to the same.
I'd be happy to meet you at H&R Block and ask your preparer in front of you.

Clarkcty,

As I said, you claim your taxes went up when taxes were cut across the board. Everyone I know has had to pay less. I cannot stand the jerk in office either, but to make up something that is not even possible does none of us any good.
