Ok dudes I'm smart phoned out.

Bottom line: I'm very emotionally attached to my phone. I have this fear it will break or stop working but then I always think it's just a phone and it can be replaced. That always lessens my fear haha.

The only things our phones do are receive calls and make calls. And we basically use them when we're out shopping...to find where the other spouse is. Maybe I'm just getting old. Blackberry...smackberry! To have this flashy phone, with huge cell phones bills...for what? Just wondering...does anyone get any "action" because of the type of cell phone they have?
I, too, once felt like you!! However, sadly I have walked over to the dark side. I absolutely LOVE my BB. The main reason is the calendar feature. I really got tired of having to look at 2 or 3 different calendars trying to find out if I could make an appointment or if my kids had something going on. Now I have it all on my phone. I haven't yet used the music feature and I do text quite a bit, mostly with my kids. I do use the internet feature at times, I usually am checking edline for my kids grades

Off the current topic, but a question for the locals: I need a reliable place for just regular maintenance on my Honda. A search of the forum turned up several recommendations for Wally's. Is it the general consensus that Wally is the man for Honda maintenance? Anyone gone there for the 20K or 30K check up and know approx how much it would run? Much thanks for your input!

what kind of Honda? Accord? I have to say Honda is definately the most common sense no brainer kind of car to buy. Reliable, last forever, never need more than the basic maintenence, never breaks, cheap service, never have to wax it or anything always looks good. It's a horse that just keeps on going day in day out. Plus the interior is decent if you get leather and all that, the outside looks great (sporty, modern), and even the V4 has enough power. The V6 has MORE than enough power. Also gas mileage on both models are great.

So for me it's like it's the only car company that makes SENSE.

But of course man never uses his common sense...I test drove the 08 accord and found the knob for the Nav on the dash ugly. I didn't like no wood grain. I didn't like that there were no air conditioned seats.

So in a way kind of like an idiot not using my common sense and shelling out thousands more for a car.

Do i regret it? Nah. BUT I do feel that I would have been happy in an Accord as well and I would have saved A LOT of money too. :-/

Bottom Line: Buying a Honda is a good smart decision.

If you are talking about Walmart to fix your vehicle, try someplace better!!! We took our car there for a new tire, and they completely messed up the entire electrical system! Which then cost a few hundred dollars to fix at the dealer. How they did that, I'll never know.

no no! don't worry. There is an independent Honda servicer called "Wally's" that Buzz and a few other people had mentioned in some old posts. Just trying to find out if they're still maintaining their former quality.

ha! Their website says they are located at "Pink's Place," so you should know about them already, right?

its always good to use a place that specializes in your brand, but i just take my Kia Optima for every service at Pep Boys, they did a very nice job on my 60000 service, and i did my 3000 service yesterday and they were very quick, only about 30 minutes, they are very nice too and tell you straight out what's worth spending for on your car, they don't try to aggresively upsell you either, we always go to the one at Pecos/Sunset, at least that's how that location operates...we also take my dad's Mustang there, but the Cadillac usually gets taken to the dealership even though its a 2000...
