Also, that reminds me let's talk about stocks for a lil bit. Why did you buy Venetian stock? I stick with big companies it's a lot safer. The only risky stock I bought was WB (now apart of Wells).

After that I stopped trading bc I was scared of losing. I look upon it as beginners luck nothing more.

If warren buffet can buy GS at like 115 and just recently it was at like 60 haha who am I to claim to be a guru at stocks lol.

Also, it's scary to think about MGM share holders...100 to 10. How crazy/sad is that?

That's why I bought LVS because it is risky, generally speaking the more risky the investment the greater the potential return will be. It was trading at almost $150 last year and now it's dropped to $4. The return on that would be insane if it ever goes back up, heck even if it went to $20 the return would be great. As long as it doesn't go bankrupt, I am almost positive it will eventually go back up...it might take 2-10 years, but the ROI will be worth it. They are still planning to open Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, so I don't think they will go bankrupt anytime soon, they still have some properties they could sell and discontinue building Marina Bay Sands. I think it will do great, it's the first casino allowed to be built in Singapore.

Stocks: you have to take smart risks. You can't expect a weak company who's worth is low to rebound. That's like saying ARQL is going back to 40 LOL.

Ok let me explain the way I trade. None of this 2 yr 10 yr hoping for a 146 point miracle increase gonna be the next billionare type stuff.

You gotta put in MASS amounts of money in BIG companies when they dip a little bit. For example, buy AAPL at 79 sold at 91. If you bought enough stock then you saw a significant fattening in your wallet. And how long did it take? 1 week?

So yeah it's hard for me to explain the way I trade and I still do when I see bargains like msft at 17 but it's a different approach.

I'm not trying to burst your balls...but you need to understand these things if you are actually going to move to a fast-paced city. Otherwise you will be used, taken advantage of and spit out back to AR or whereever it is you're from.

I think the fundamentals of both MGM and LVS are good, that's the difference. AIG for example...there problems go deeper than just the current recession we are in.

When you have the time, you can do that...but I don't now. During summer break, I like to day trade. Put all my money into one stock, if it goes up 1% I sell it make a couple hundred. Do that a few times a week and you'll make anywhere from $1000-$2500 a month with not much money. The range is so broad because sometimes the stock will go down a % and you need to sell it before it continues. I've been trading since I was 8, it's not something I'm just getting into.

One of my dads co-workers who's a billionaire will put in millions into a stock then when it goes up like .2 of a point he sells immediately and makes mega dough in like 30 sec haha.

I don't know that's just what I think. Maybe I'll become a doc and not make good money but I still think it's something I'd be passionate about and would enjoy doing. Plus I looked up doctor salaries and they seem good enough.
