Getting stuck in traffic in New Orleans (Friday rush hour), Houston (Saturday rush?), and at Hoover Dam (BS Security check points, all the police officer said was "Have a good one"
) wasn't exactly fun either. Hoover Dam was the worst as far as traffic is concerned, it made me wish I had picked up 95 in Laughlin and went that way instead

I don't think I will be making the drive from El Paso to Las Vegas again anytime soon but I always liked driving through Texas Canyon and Wickenburg.
You need to change your status to "employed in no time flat on a holiday my first day in Vegas".
