I'm sorry, it was the booze and stress talking.

As for the transportation, we took the bus.

I can't say that I blame you all if you want me to go back to lurking mode.

I, personally, was not angered a bit. Just puzzled by the fact that you think it is because people don't like you.

Aqua, don't worry about it!

I do agree with the drinking and driving issue. I won't do it and I actually cannot see well at night so...unless I have a room on the Strip....then again, you don't have to drink to have a meet-up!

I agree whole heartedly. I plan to rent a room on the strip for my 21st birthday, so I can drink and not worry about driving home that night. I'd like to spend my 21st birthday at Planet Hollywood, that is my favorite casino

Probably not. And it has nothing to do with certain people.
I really have no interest in meeting most people from forums offline.

LVD, I have no idea what your agenda is, but right now it seems you want to tick everyone off. If you and everyone want to know the truth, I do not meet people offline, because, well, I just don't. Not anymore, anyway. I have in the past several times, in a group setting usually. I used to work with another woman in an online group here in Las Vegas, and it was hell trying to get the meets set up. Most of the time, it was just me, her, and one or two others. So, instead of feeling sorry for ourselves or ticking everyone off, we made our own fun. Went to karaoke, sang off key, nobody cared. We had fun. Went to mini golf, would go out to dinner. Take turns hanging out at each other's homes. After awhile the site fizzled out and the few of us drifted apart. We say hi online now and then, and that's about it.

I then joined another group or two and tried the old meet up thing again. First a big group would show up, one time. Then it dwindled to just a few, then to none. So ended that. And these were just once a month potluck picnics. Where everyone could show up during the daytime, alternating saturday or sunday, bringing their friends, spouses, significant others, kids, pets. Everyone brought a dish or two, drinks, whatever. Sometimes a BBQ. After awhile, it quit working too.
People just have so many different schedules, with so much going on. We never took it personally that people couldn't make it, that was just life.

Now I am content in my life to take it easy and go online and talk to everyone. Have a lot of laughs, make others laugh. When you are all meeting up around 9-10pm and later, I am winding down for the night, going online to play a few games, then read and go to sleep.

At one time or another I almost met: Olecapt, Aqualung, Kimba(back when we were trying to get the care package thing for aqua), MomMom(considered meeting her for coffee a time or two), and several others, some gone now, some still here.
And last but not least....

Dinner is calling me, so off I go.

Sorry that I haven't been online for the last few days. Lots of drama has been going on, and I don't get a chance to get often as much as I used to. My BlackBerry died on me, and the loaner phone is a real pain to get online with.

I hold no grudges. I was just having a bad week. I just got called back to go back to the work for the Census, and it'll be good to working again. I was off for roughly four weeks, waiting for my background check, and that probably added to my mood.

Friends?

Thanks, Kimba. This last month has been pretty rough on me, and the new drama that I mentioned to help matters. I'm also pissed off at Clark County Social Services. It doesn't matter that I have obvious medical needs, they won't give me medical because of the money that I got last year for taking care of my mother. Oh, they might give it to me, but I have to come up with all of the receipts for the stuff that I spent the money on. Excuse me, but I'm not that anal. I wasn't toilet trained at gun point. Never mind that I've been off my meds (high bp, diabetes, diabetic neuropothy of the feet, and a bunch of other things) since November, they don't care if I have a stroke or die. Sure, I can go back in August for the chance for them to deny me again.

Didn't you buy a truck with that money? If you bought it at a dealership...they could provide you with a copy? And why are you boozing it up until 6am, smoking cigars and eating at fatty hamburger joints when you're off your meds? Things don't just add up here.

JMO...but instead of saying "poor me" all the time...you've got to take responsibility for your actions and control of your destiny. You've got to get it together, man.

I'm with you Pinkish Person [altho I would lOVE to meet the pic you used to have up ] I don't meet offline except in RARE occassions.

I work 40 hours a week and am leaving for work at 6:00am every morning.

I don't drink and am not interested in being on a place of excessive smoke and booze. I work in the Casino industry ao I have ZERO interest in beingin one unless they are paying me.

As for not likeing anyone on here...remember this....we are WORDS....

Cept for you Pinkish n Angie...you're sweethearts.
