Call the Bug bully! He was here earlier, laughed at my concern for crickets caught in the roach traps he leaves in the garage.
We compared ant trap recipes and he told me i am doing fine, since all the ants either died or disappeared.

Default Back from LA

Just got back from a 2 day trip with the GF and it was so nice to escape to some cooler weather for a few days. Malibu Beach was gorgeous, and I had so much fun in Hollywood, Downtown LA, and the San Fernando Valley

As for the rain...Arizona can have it. I hate rain as my car has terrible traction in it, and most often times when it is raining, Im driving

I told my dad a joke I stole from Dynimage, well it was either him or Buzz I dont remember. "We had four feet of rain....yep one drop of rain every four feet" or something similar to that

And BTW, I missed you guys

It looks like we might get some rain tonight, but it looks like dry beautiful days ahead.

Did Malibu look anything like this? I snapped this on a drive from Oxnard to Malibu along the PCH a few months ago. You picked a good time to visit L.A. as the weather has been mild, especially in the San Fernando Valley.

Yes it did look like that. I loved driving along the PCH it was absolutely gorgeous. The water was SO COLD though, but it was still a nice break from the 110+ its been in Vegas lately

I heard it can get extremely hot in the Valley, but down in Hollywood and closer to the beaches that rarely happens I heard

If you want to live close to the beach, have mild weather, try Orange County. I have a friend there and she is always teasing us with her 73 degree temps and ocean breezes. Sounds great to me.
I used to visit the beaches all the time living in Southern California. My family would go for the day, and by evening, we would all be collecting seashells, packing up the stuff with either a great tan or a painful sunburn to take home with us.

The coastal section of Southern California has the best climate in the world.
On the other hand, it has the worst urban sprawl in USA.
Coming from SoCal, I just laugh when people complain how spread out Las Vegas is. They obviously haven't seen the worst.
And one thing I like Vegas more than LA is that we are a 24-hour city while pretty much the whole LA shuts down after midnight.

The water would still be cold though....then again I am used to going to the FL beaches where the water temperature is about 80-90 this time of year. And every time I hear Orange County, I keep thinking of Orlando because that is their county's name

But yeah, I cant wait to go back, if it was cheaper I'd move there

When I lived in La Jolla, I always visited the beaches whenever I had time. I really miss the climate.
To me, the climate of Las Vegas is pretty bad. It is usually 15-20 degress hotter than LA in summer and 15 degrees colder than LA in winter. Moreover, we are much windier than LA too.
