I still think a lot of people come in here for advice, find what they want and disappear. They got what they need so they don't need this place anymore. But that's ok too, because there are always more to take their places.

Was on The Strip all day again today. More panhandlers not just sitting idly by, but running up and begging with sad stories...
Add that to the people that accost you from outside casinos for "free" shows or timeshares or whatever it is. I need to get a T-shirt with the big word of "NO" on the front and just point to it.

I find it strange that when I went to get a player's card from the Wynn, they told me I already had one from 2006 when I made a reservation. I never made a reservation there for anything. And I was never there in 2006. They said my name was the same, and address. I wish I would have asked her what phone number it was or email. I was told that the last letter on the name was different but that it was me. I kept telling her that it wasn't me and she kept saying it was. (i was not there) It's just very weird. I was never at the Wynn before this.

Possible identity theft perhaps?

They run up to you now? When I am on the strip I usually see them passed out on the pedestrian overpasses. How they sleep in this heat I'll never know. I know quite a handful of them live in the Las Vegas Wash under the strip

Pink if you got that shirt and then pointed to the "No" when people try to accost you I would laugh my ass off.

Meggy is very cute, Elko. How old is she? Queen is doing fine where she is, and Ace is with me while I'm at my sister's place. It's Jackie who needs to find a foster home within a month.

Pink: I checked out that link, and from what I read they ask for volunteers to do fostering, but don't offer the service to those who need it.

When I go to the strip with the wife the beggars are all over us but when its just me they leave me alone. I am getting a complex I must be ugly or look like I just don't give a s_it. When we walk past the people trying to sell time shares or tickets my wife will walk in front of me. Most of the time they wont talk to single people. We had one guy keep walking with us trying to get us to look at his brochures. He only left when I asked him to watch for security because I needed to puke in the bushes in front of Casino Royale. My wife was pissed at me she said that was uncalled for and gross. But the look on his face was priceless. I went from a prospect to a wet dog turd in 2 seconds. But when you say no thank you 5 times and the guy is still talking, my nasty side comes out.

I was there at Casino Royale yesterday and that's a great place you picked to puke at. That is a scammy little place. They give everyone "$50 free" to sign up at their slot club and of course you have to play their set machines where you never win, so they never lose. They must be in cahoots with Hooters. Same thing only they give you a pretend $100.

I think I am going to do like lasvegasjeeper does and walk in front of my husband and see if the panhandlers leave us both alone. And I think I will create that t-shirt at cafepress. And add a nice big exclamation point onto it.

And the worst time I had with those people that don't take no for an answer, the timeshare or shows or whatever those people offer..we were going to a wedding at the Rio several years ago, and all dressed up nicely..they literally grabbed our arms and started steering us away from where we were going. I ducked, and headed back to where we were going. they came back and grabbed me again. I told them to let go now or else. And told them I was there for a wedding and to get lost. They finally did. They almost made us late since we were late getting there as is.
What is with those people? Do they take a course on how to kidnap people in order to get that job?? I wonder.
