Keep it germane to Las Vegas and we'll all be OK.
And well, I guess, jfk and Las Vegas somehow go together? Is that possible?
Anyways, I'm glad he's here..

Aircs, seems the 20th was a crappy day to travel flight-wise... I went from ISP (NY) to Chicago/Midway.. ended up getting stuck in Midway an extra hour for some delay (I later realized that my midway-vegas flight originated in CMH, so that might be why (silly snow!). Finally landed at McCarren ontime (surprisingly, somehow). After fighting with the rental car company (again!) finally made it out to my place by dusk.....
...got to attend an HOA meeting for my complex.. my lord, I still have headaches thinking about it. Never saw a bunch of more disorganized little Napoleans in my life! They're in for trouble when I'm finally out here for good, LOL!
Got a question for y'all.... what is up with the 215 Frontage all of a sudden being renamed for all these people? I found out from friends that this happened in the past month or so. The name keeps changing though.. like every couple of exits.. I don't even know who half of these people are? I tried looking online, but couldn't find an article about it.. please don't tell me that this is tax dollars at work?? It seems a little confusing to me..

Davey, my love, calm down. No one's hard earned tax dollars are paying for the re-naming of the 215 frontage roads.
It's to honor Las Vegans who have an impact on the city and are synonomous with Las Vegas...now c'mon...the frontage road at Durango/215 was re-named ROY HORN WAY
Your NY is showing, most everybody here in Las Vegas knows who that is!
It's the ROY in Siegfried and Roy? They had shows here in town for like 30 years? Or perhaps you remember the tiger attack in 2003 that made headlines?

Momx2, dear, I know who Roy Horn is.. (doesn't everyone, even in NY?) I've only seen the tigers half a dozen times...Jeez, I'm not that naive.. hence why I said " I don't know who half these people are". I was referring to some of the other names.. which I have now realized who/what their influence was (thank you wikipedia). All except one.. and I can't remember the name at the moment.
I was just curious as to how and when this came about? I didn't realize that was going to cause my "NY to show"
*sigh*

Well, you asked who these people were, you didn't specify which names were unfamiliar to you
Here's a big hug to you anyways..sorry if you took it the wrong way..I meant no harm.
This will help you..
