I'd say even most casual players are beyond that at this point. I think this only gets quoted so much because of Caro's book, and because people want to believe it's true and that simple. It's almost never that simple.

I will admit his daughter is beautiful, at least looks wise. However, she is the spitting image of her father which makes her ugly. Here is the best example of that. Call me crazy, but I have always thought George Bush's daughter Barbara was a hottie. Now, considering who her dad was and how she was raised, well, you know

I don't know, I might make an exception for her.

Donald Trump raised nothing. His ex-wife made him and she gave the kids what little class they have. Without Daddy giving them jobs they would be lost.

Trump is a scam artist that used his daddy's money to buy real estate and now he builds using other people's money and skimming off for himself. The kiddie's new hotel in NYC is a total flop.

To the OP, I'm sure he has nothing to do with the training of his staff.

Dynimagelv, glad to hear your positive assessment. I spent the millennium new year in Atlantic City with a group of friends and the Trump Casino at that time/place was such a dump I never returned to that one or went in any of the other Trump casino properties. It wasn't even clean. We thanked heaven we weren't sleeping there. I'll check out the one in LV now that I've read your post.

You need to lighten up a little. I think all that money counting is getting to you.
My humor can run as black as the night sky: dry, subtle, sardonic, ironic. And I'm well-aware my humor has a very limited audience, and I'm sensitive/intelligent enough to know where and when to display it.

My humor can be so subtle, it's doesn't even bother me than no one gets the punch line, as long as it leaves me laughing, who cares!!!

very true, however your posts are informative and very good at times.... you do not berate the town that you live in and humiliate other posters.. you speak your mind yet do not put down anyone in particular... you are a vegan..... you were not one to toot your horn so high about vegas and then go buy a timeshare elsewhere and then belittle the vegas forum... you have never been asked to leave this forum.... You are pretty decent in my book.

I agree...not a fan of casinos with the Trump name...but be aware that he has been removed from them by court order. The conglomerate running those casinos in NJ has just decided to keep the name.

Relax...you'll be free me of me next week...as I vacation in Orlando at that new timeshare. I'll post how it went when I get back.

In the meantime...makes sure all the money is counted at the M and keep things running there in LV.

The quote under your name is so you...please don't bother changing it. If you do, I suggest "Bitter and arrogant...2 out of 2 ain't bad".

I like your humor, tij...and your posts, in general, are balanced and informative. I also find myself enjoying my own humor. If we can't laugh at ourselves...how can we expect other to laugh at us!

Tried to rep you, but I must have done so recently, so I can't. Keep up the good work.

I think somehow in this discussion we've mixed up humor with good taste and when taste is missing, that's where the line is crossed. I appreciate everyone's sense of humor and wonder if anyone but me has noticed how dry and boring someone can be that has no really defined sense of humor. An example of that would be Martha Stewart. They can fill her show with all types of guests and sometimes they have great personalities and will try to interject some humor into a dry situation but Martha never seems to get it and never misses a beat continuing to put the perfect frosting dollup on a cupcake.
