Ok dudes so I spoke to a medical school advisor again and he said I'm good to go. I just need to make a 30ish on the MCAT and get in some volunteer work and I'm set. Hooray!

This has changed my life ESPECIALLY when talking with women. I'll get to it later my thumbs are tired of typing on my BB.

Also, I might start a blog and just put all my thoughts, observations, and questions there so look for that.

Ok dudes so I'm at my comp now - much easier to type. Basically what I've noticed is that many women treat men as either

A) An Investment

B) A Cash Cow

1. First I'll discuss the investment man. I've noticed when I tell a girl I'm in school and going to be a doctor they get all impressed - almost as if I'm already a doctor lol. These women probably think of me as a "good catch" and treat me so. One lady insinuated that she wanted to move in with me. It's quite ridiculous IMHO.

2. Now I'll discuss the cash cow type of guy. The cash cow type of guy is the guy who doesn't necessarily have a good career or future but is willing to spend money a girl b/c he think she loves him. These women fool these guys into thinking they love them and the end result ends in an empty wallet for the guy. Of course these women are not really interested in the guy because his career/future does meet the woman's expectations. For example, this one guy would buy lingerie for what he though was his loyal girlfriend. She'd go return it and get 1/2 cash back and go pay her bills. When he ran out of money she left, and he committed suicide.

With all due respect lexusman you are quite young and your inexperience in the ways of the world shows in your observations. Now please understand that I am not insinuating this, but based on your track record here I can just imagine you approaching a female and throwing the medical school thing out there like that makes you a catch (that and the Lexus of course). There is an old saying. We reap what we sow. If you use your future career or car as a conversation point with the opposite sex, particularly if you have just met or started dating them, expect to only attract those that care solely about your car or career. Many well to do single men with nice cars and fat wallets do not even let on how much money they make when they first meet or start dating women. As a matter of fact, most of them pick up their dates in their daily beaters and not their weekend toy cars. That way they find a woman that actually is interested in them as people. Even if you are not looking for strings, this is still a very pragmatic approach.

Just as an aside, most people that talk about how much stuff they have or how much money they make are in all actuality very insecure. Not saying you are, but you do give off that vibe.

WHAT? Heck no I don't just tell them I'm doing this or I drive that etc. etc.

Usually they'll ask "what do you do" I say "I'm a student" They say "oh really what are you studying"

That's nuts only a crazy guy would go around saying that stuff acting like he's so great. You've got the wrong guy that's not me AT ALL ESPECIALLY after meeting girls like that.

The point of the post above was to point out how difficult it is to find someone genuine.

I wanted to see if other people also notice many (not all) women in Las Vegas who treat men like A) or B) from the post above

I agree with Daddys, Lex. There is more to life than women. Don't ask me what, but there is.

Let's discuss...please. All opinions and comments are not only welcomed but encouraged. BUT, let's please try to keep this dialogue more on the issues and do our best to stay away from personal attacks and statements that stray away from the quoted text above.

Thanks!

Sadly, you have not found a C or D yet. When you do or if you do (and they do exist), add those. You must know that there are more personalities than those two out there. If not, you really are buried in the sticks.

Seems that you are more concerned with how you appear than alot of women are.
