just returned from the job interview at National Business Supply. The sales job pays $10 an hour vs commission. whichever i make more of is what I get paid. hours would be 7 am to 1 pm. The interviewer stated that me not having any sales experience was a "beautiful thing" and that its better that way because Im not bringing any "baggage" and said sales experience in this job was "a double side sword"

Im CERTAIN I will be hired there

Good Thoughts

Default An Update-Nellis Airman Shot in His Garage Story

I remember skimming through the posts here on the chat thread and noticed some were talking about the Nellis soldier who was shot in his garage as he was leaving for work from his home in Mountains Edge.

Looks like it was a "hit job"

Report outlines wife's alleged role in Nellis airman's murder - Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 | 1:24 p.m. - Las Vegas Sun

Davie, like Airics said, be very careful on sales jobs like this. Generally what they do is advance you a sum of money every week, say $500, and that is really draw against your commission. They will carry someone about a month and at the end of that time if your commission doesn't exceed what they gave you, you are let go and presented with a bill for what they advanced you. They are very sad, sorry jobs. I'm sure you are charming as all get out and interview well but good jobs do not come that easy.

How sad that airman was a product of his wife's hiring a hitman. She must have saved her allowance for many years to be able to afford that. And then right at Christmas time. She must have been a real sweetheart.

I read the reviews via googling NBS. They seem to be pretty mixed. It seems most people either love them or hate them. Some of those reviews were quite shocking and honestly, no matter how desperate I'd be for a sale, I would NEVER call a 16 yr old female intern and invite her to Vegas to "show her the ropes" as one review had written

Just like with women, when it comes to jobs; every job I'm interested in there seems to be a reason I must stay away. God, I feel like Im going to be working the same crap retail job the rest of my life

Just keep hitting the hotels,... you should have applied to Harrahs, Venetian, M, and Palms by now.. Don't do the job fairs, they are a waste.....

Did you apply to the M?
