Default Sunrise Manor Area?

We are Canadians who are looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo in Las Vegas. We are looking for a place where we and our family and friends can come down and escape from our winters.

We have noticed that there seems to be great prices in the Sunrise Manor area. We have looked (via internet) at a complex called Mountain Side at 6800 E LAKE MEAD BL. We are not concerned about commute times, schools, etc. as the place would be for recreational use. But we still would want a decent area that is relatively safe and secure.

Any thoughts or comments? Thanks!!

Pass up anything on E.Lake Mead. It's a great deal for a reason.
Better yet, go towards the South strip, near South Point and M casino's.
Great area, close to it all and your stuff may still be there when you come back each time.

Don't go there...the NE is not suitable to snow birds and such.

I also agree. If you are looking for a nice neighborhood at fair prices, look in the NW area of town. Summerlin is nice, as are Mountain's Edge (Enterprise) and Green Valley (Henderson)...all are fairly reasonable. Best of luck!

Give Pinkstring a rep up. Near South Point is ideal for snowbirds.
