I had no problem at all with the Picerne mgmt, either. I liked how they ran things.

I live at a Picerne apt (Steriling Court) and I was told (when I came here a year and half ago) that it was a reliable managment company. We have a gate but people jump over the walls and there have been break ins. I feel somewhat safe and signed a lease for another year. The complex is older than the others mentioned but the rent is not as high. I pay 845 + 45 (water, sewer and trash) for a two bedroom with good sized rooms. The kitchen is old but functional. Check out the Picerene web sites. Good luck.

If you're working on Durango and Russell, anywhere in Summerlin or Southwest Valley should be okay, commute-wise. These regions are also typically safe and clean, so you shouldn't have any problems.
