Ok, i went to the first interview (a cattle call) back in January. Today i was emailed that i have been selected for a second interview. There are dates available from April to September. Should i take an early date or later in the year.. Any benefits either way. If i go early, will i be forgotten? If i wait till late, will the job be filled and then no chance?

Congratulations. I take it this job would be one that you want? If it is and since you said previously you and your wife usually go out but airline prices were ridiculous, I'd go out right about the time the two of you would normally like to be there and kill two birds with one stone. I can't see how you could go wrong if you had your second interview during the first months. Good luck !

Back when I was doing hiring, I kept the best interview folder on top. Everyone else had to beat that person. Of couse many things can go wrong, but you have no control over those.

I vote for go early, be unbeatable and unforgetable. You're always unforgetable here ). Good Luck.

I would go early. Whenever I was hiring, If I had one that I liked from the beginning, I seemed to find faults in the other people, even though they were great.

Please let us know how the 2nd interview went afterwards, so we know what to expect.

I haven't gotten any word myself for a second interview.

Good luck!

rakes, go to their website, they may still be taking apps.. however i will tell you this, on the first day, they received 10,000 applications... also with a non local address, your chances are slim.. .is it a good time with the job market.. absolutely not!

Default Congratulations!!!

Congratulations airics!!!

I agree with previous posters who favor being interviewed earlier rather than later. Choosing to be interviewed early, I think, helps them to perceive you as someone eager, excited, determined and PREPARED, especially if the interview goes well.

Good Luck!!!
