ISPs in Vegas
Hi! I was wondering which companies you all use for your high-speed Internet? I currently live in NM and the big company here for that is Qwest. They really have no competition and it shows in their customer service.
Is there more than one provider there In Vegas?
Thanx so much in advance for your replies
~Cade~

Most use Cox. At times their internet service is a lot slower than they want you to believe. But, their customer service is good.

Like RedRock said, most use Cox cable. You can also get DSL from Embarq. maybe one or two others. Not too many options here.

I use Cox and have the lowest speed. I haven't really had many problems, and I watch TV shows on the internet. Seems to be fine for me.

Cox here. Generally it's very good - we use it for our home and business telephones via multiple VoIP providers as well. You can also look at Embarq for DSL, and there's also one or two point-to-point wireless providers. There's not a huge variety of options, but you do have choices.

Some love Cox; others are happy with rabbit ears.
I got cox/internet and phone for about 33.70 per month BOTTOM LINE. After 6 months; it will go up 7 bucks per month. Very easy install on the net. I like it better than Verizon DSL.

I miss my Cox cable internet. I had the full 12meg package, but these days I get on the library's wifi, or piggyback on my neighbors signal.
