If you knew you were going to be photographed for a newspaper article, wouldn't you at least put on a clean shirt? The guy is wearing his lunch all over his t-shirt......

Granted it has a higher frequency of foreclosures than most areas of Vegas; however, I live in the area and I laughed out loud when people were talking about the gas siphoning, graffiti, assaults, etc. I have 2 foreclosures in my little community of 12 houses and none of that happens, they article tries to vision that the area has become this crime ridden area and it is the complete opposite. The Sun tries to stir up controversy by writing bunk like this article.

minus 21 million illegals americans dont need to be rescued. they can do just fine.
if the government enforced immigration and did not pressure banks to make high risk loans to low income individuals who cant cant afford 1/2 million dollar homes, we would not be here.

I used to think that the general media in the rest of the country was sensationalizing the problems in LV for good reading. This is LV's own newspaper (one of them) perpetuating the stories! Either it's true...or LV should boycott The Sun.

The media always tries to make things look worse, it's their job. Whatever sells their papers.

I know many who live in 89131 and visit the area myself often, the article in my humble opinion is exaggerated. They make the area seem much worse than it is.
