How is this area? I was visiting last week looking for a house and this seemed like a nice area. It looked like a lot of shopping and eating anybody know exactly what is in this area?

It is a pretty nice area. Lots of stuff recently built up there.

Kind far from other parts of the valley, though.

It's not that far... I live in the same general area. I like it up here a lot - as you said, lots of shopping and eating nearby, plus I love being that close to the hospital. The schools are pretty good too.

Well that spot is three or four minutes from 95 or 215...so hardly isolated. I would call it near NW rather than far NW.

It is Centennial Hills and has lots of services and such. Somewhat high density in some of those tracts and heavily hit by the foreclosure mess. Likely to end up a high rental area.

Very convenient to shopping and the new hospital. Will be very convenient to the Great Mall of Las Vegas...if and when. You can live around there and walk to most things.

I know people who have a house up in that area, on Attic Grace Street. It's all new up there and there's plenty of shopping nearby. To me, it's way "out there" but that whole area is new to me.

It's a nice area, the people we know seem to like it, however, they've had a few foreclosures in their development. They never have said anything about crime or anything, they seem to be happy there.

I'm pretty sure it's in that area of Dorrell St/Durango. Their yard sure is small though..
