I'm a canadian RN and I'm thinking about moving to Las Vegas or the surrounding areas because of the low taxes and the reasonnable cost of livingover there (I am tired of the cold in Canada that lasts 6 months and the ridiculus high taxes that we pay ). I would like to know if a person like me (coming from Quebec) could easily adapt to this city and the environment and is it easy for an RN to find a job? I have read a few reviews on how it is to live in Las Vegas and I understand that I might like it or not depending on how I choose to see it, but since I am not from the States, I would like to have an opinion from someone who lived in Canada if it's possible. Thanks a lot .

Nurses are in demand, you might want to contact some hospitals in Las Vegas to see if what you need to do for your qualifications to transfer to the the United States.
