Anybody know of a good plumber that doesn't charge $90.00 an hour that you can personally recommend? Prestige did the original plumbing, and they are pretty good, but they charge $90.00 an hour, and I have three problems to take care of. I have no hot water in the guest bathroom shower, I need to put in a dog friendly spray faucet in the mop sink, and suddenly the kitchen faucet is coming apart. It's a spray faucet that hasn't been in there more than about two years. The sink has two bowls, and when I turned the faucet over to the other bowl it didn't want to turn, and it was grinding on something. I pulled the hose out all the way and looked inside, and ended up pulling several pieces of metal out. It still grinds and will only turn a little in each direction. The insides seem to have disintegrated.

Advance apologies for the sarcasm--try hiring a plumber for 45$ and see what happens. The shop gets half the labor charge.

That's why I want a good independent. Prestige charges $90.00, but I don't know if the plumber gets half of that. They do if they're any good I guess. I used to have a very good plumber who didn't have to report to anyone, but he retired.
