Anyone talked to any current employees there, as to the changes taking place with Ruffin, and his younger wife, in charge now? Like re-applying for their jobs?

Nothing that I have heard of. The insurance is more per month - but of course, that was expected because of the size of MGM. Some people lost some vacation time. Otherwise, pretty smooth so far...

the "re-applying" for jobs is not an unusual thing. It allows the new owner to put everyone on 90 day probation and then make determinations on who to keep.
It was first used by the Golden Nugget in Laughlin back in 87
