Smile Phone/Internet/Cable & Cell Phone for Henderson

We will be moving to Henderson in July, and we are wondering who we should get our phone/internet/ and cable through. When we were out there visiting, we noticed everyone seemed to have satellite dishes, is there someone that offers a bundle that includes satellite as well?

Also, which cell phone company do you recommend? Our contract with T-Mobile will end soon, and would like to find a new cell phone company.

Don't know about satellite prices but with Cox cable my package costs about $115 a month. When I lived in Tampa Bay three years ago I was paying 20/30 bucks more for the same package. As for cell phones, Verizon I find to be the most reliable. Sprint let me out of my contract due to a high amount of dropped calls. Only area I lose a signal with Verizon is in certain parts of Seven Hills.

We currently live in Tampa, and pay $150 for all three, so $115 is a pretty good deal! Do you have any problems with Cox?

I've had no problems with Cox. Wish I could say the same about DMV and Southwest Gas!

Direct TV dish is almost always a sports fan. Often they have Cox also. You can get a package through Embarq I believe that includes Direct and DSL.

I too recommend Cox and Verizon. The only place I ever drop calls with Verizon is at home and there does not seem to be much I can do about that.

Called Cox inquiring about switching to digital cable, HA, they wanted upcharge me from 60 a month, to over 115 a month JUST FOR THE CABLE, and then another 40 for the internet, NEVERMIND......
