Findlay Middle School has a Case of Swine Flu
Just saw the story on Fox 5 news. My son goes there and we have been told nothing about this.
Shame on CCSD for not telling parents.

CCSD is known for not telling parents anything...
Well, last week we did receive in class a sheet from the District describing Swine Flu, its effects, and how to prevent it...I don't find that a responsibility of the District to educate us but the responsibility of the Health District, oh well...However CCSD should notify everyone when a case like this happens in one of their schools...

They are by the way going to a keep sick kids at home approach rather than closing the schools.
Want good hygiene though.
I think they have now reached the decision that it is simply not that dangerous a flu. In fact some indications that old f*rts are immune or partially so...

So you mean that we can all refocus back on the troubled economy? Gave the govt a bit of a break there, though!

36,000 people die each year in the US from "regular" flu and its complications. That's an average of nearly 100 deaths per day.
So far, 2 people in the US have died from "swine flu" over the last 30 days.
This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion.
Then again, world-wide bees kill more people than terrorism, and yet there is no hundred billion dollar "war on bees" either.
