A townhouse or regular house would be fine as well. I'm not looking for anything specific besides what I listed.
Thanks Gaston. That's more of what I was looking for. haha.

Section 8 goes to $835 or so...$800 is going to be in the middle of them.

You need to come up to above $1000 to cut the better joints out Nellis way...Presidio and Tivoli come to mind but they are both over $1000. You can perhaps hit a condo or Town house over that way for a little less..There are a couple of workable places in the west end of NLV.

Ah. Well I really can't afford something that expensive honestly. NLV is out of the question bc of my buddy. He refuses to live up there because of the "crime". I told him its everywhere but he is insisting on Henderson or somewhere in southern LV.

See if your buddy would consider the Summerlin area also, it might be closer, and it's just as nice as Henderson.

Ok, I'll check that out. I was looking around online and the places in Summerlin were outrageously expensive!

We just had this discussion in another thread = 89015 is the bottom end of Henderson. There are a few condos off Racetrack. They go down to $850 or $900.

That is likely your only real hope for a rational complex in Henderson...otherwise it is Section 8 city....

You guys are committing economic suicide over an urban myth. You can easily live well withing 20 or 25 minutes of Nellis for close to your price and save $3 or $4 a day in gasoline. That would let you spend another $100 in rent.

I'm trying not to commit economic suicide. He's kind of forcing the situation on me. I could care less where I live as long as I don't hear gun fire daily and there arent gangs driving up and down the streets all day every day doing drive by's ya know? if its relatively quiet and I can walk out to my car at night and not get mugged and have my car be there I'm a happy camper.

In the pecking order of things 89015 is worse than 89084 and much worse than 89131. So you are basically picking a worse crime area in order to avoid a better crime area.
