People, there is lots of good food in the valley, some of it very cheap too. Buffets are a gimmick.
Buffet @ Asia is not much better, quality of food is pretty bad. I wonder where they buy their beef, just plain gross.

Some people are going to look at the price and say, "Whoa! All you can eat for $8.99?!?!? I am going to put a HURT on that place."

Other people look at the price and say, "What kind of sh** are they putting out to turn a profit on an $8.99 buffet?"

As with most things, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. There ARE good buffets here in town. But they cost more. In some cases, a LOT more. It's that simple.

I would think everyone would realize this, but as you know they don't. For some, those under $10 buffets are fine, they are not gourmet diners and are happy with overcooked 1/2 cold, food. It fills their tummy, but as you have said over and over, if you want to really enjoy a buffet you have to pay for it.

If they really thought about it, they would drive to McJackKing Burger and buy their unhealthy food off the dollar menu.

It would actually be better to eat at fast food than the el-cheapo buffets. At least the fast food restaurants don't make the Wednesday R-J health report with the regularity that the cheap buffets do. And the food quality is about the same between Buffet @ Asia and Jack in the Box.

It's all over-salted, fat-laden industrial meat anyway.

With a member's card I think a breakfast at the Station Casinos is definitely worth $4.99.

Agreed - all except Palace Station, which might be worth $4.99 only if they included a $25 gaming chip with the purchase.

its even better if you remember to time it on seniors day... they seem to up there game on that day for the old folks.

I eat there at least once a week... sometimes more because it's such a smokin deal.

I really enjoy Makino's sushi Buffet on decatur... it's actually owned by a Japanese Man... Makino. I ran into the great Dick Butkus last time I ate there. very nice fellow, that still towers over most folks even though he has to hobble around on damaged legs.

Just because you disagree with someone there is no reason to attack them. I bet my favorite buffet is different then yours, and so what.
