Default Any good duplexes in Las Vegas?

I've been talking with my sister, and we're thinking about going in on a duplex together. Is there anything decent in town that's not in a war zone, or surrounded by hood rats? Ideally, we'd like something more on the west side of Vegas, around $60k. Thanks for any help in advance.

Go to realtor.com and look up mutliple dwellings between the prices of 10k and 60K. See what pops up and IMO expect to get it right this moment at 20% over listing price.

Just suggesting it as a place to start.

Crimes for the area aren't too bad, and a satellite map of the area shows pools in the neighborhood. Shouldn't be too bad.

I did a quick search for you and I found a total of 10 two family properties in the Vegas Valley in your price range (I actually searched up to $70,000). None are in a great area. The one that's farthest SW is located near LV Blvd and E St Louis. Then you have on on 15th and Stewart, and another near E Lake Mead and Linn (Sunrise Mtn). The rest are nestled in N Las Vegas (not the new N Vegas) and W Vegas (Alphabet City and surrounding areas).

The properties on Starwood are not selling as duplexes, they are selling as attached single family homes. So for $86,500 (the cheapest listing on that street) you get one unit of the two unit building.

Of all of those, the one in SW Vegas would be the best one, safety wise, ne?

Of the actual duplexes I mentioned none of them were in the SW. Safetey wise of the ones I listed the one on Sunrise I think would be the best. LV Blvd and St Louis isn't a great area by any means.

Hmmm...I thought that pretty much the whole of the eastern part of town/Sunrise Mountain area wasn't that great. Hood rats and all. If you could DM me the listing, it'd be greatly appreciated, Daddys.
