Owners of Tahiti Village Resort to file for bankruptcy - Breaking News - ReviewJournal.com
Consolidated Resorts, owner of timeshares here, Orlando, and Hawaii have filed for bankruptcy...
My parents used to work for the company, they were told by former co-workers that they went to work today and were all asked to leave by security, the call centers are empty and the Strip booths are closed now...Only a few employees are left, if any...No one knows what will become of the resorts and rumor has it they may become condos and that Bank of America shut the company down due to defaulting on the loan...
Add all this onto the unemployment rate...

We have friends who invested in a timeshare there and were just here a month ago. I wonder if they have been notified of what's happening. I'll have to show this to my wife so she can contact them. |

that's what I thought,.......they laid off a buncha people in Henderson not too long ago.
