I thinkCarsonAriesGrl and I agree that gaming employees probably get checked more often than other departments.
I can tell you for sure that my credit was pulled for CC. I know because I got a letter from the reporting agency. I think by law if there is something bad in your credit they have to let you know it was pulled. Again I'm on the gaming side so that may not be the same for others.

still waiting for front desk. I'm thinking since I'm still open maybe they'll offer me a different hotel after all the internals transfer. Has anyone heard of people getting offers for other mgm properties?

Apparently they started internal job offers in early august, but the official date for external job offers is september 21!!!!
If you do not get called by end of sept, you can apply one position at a time to any of the following sister properties, and
start the process over:

Vdara
mgm grande
mandalay
mirage
monte carlo
lexur
nyny
excalibur
circus circus!

Airics thats not true because my boyfriend applied as bellmen at aria and they offered him a postition at hotel 32 in the monte carlo. He declined at later was hired at aria. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone at the front desk. The guy who interviewed me asked me if I did not get hired at Aria if I would work at a different mgm property.

Eastside Cannery not only credit checks but also urine test, fingerprints and driving record!!!!!! The guy actually called me to tell me that I owed $80.00 on a prior Sprint bill from 2000. LoL. I couldn't believe it. I declined the offer and went to Wynn/Encore instead who checked hair follicles and I'm not sure what else.
