Hello Everyone,
WOW!!! I just got off work at the Venetian early, and usually I don't take the strip, but I had to go pick up my boyfriend...I saw City Center from the front for the first time and man that place is massive, the structure is really nice, Aria is so hugh, and the Mandarin Oriental is nice. City Center is right in the middle of the strip it should do fairly well. I was amaze to how it look, like I said I have'nt been (drive) down the strip in almost 2-3yrs due to traffic and tourist driving. The last time I was there was after they imploded the broadwalk. Its crazy to what that property looks like now compared to 3yrs ago.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
A while ago I had applied for a laborer position. I had the initial interview and department interview. No call, but my application remained active. Yesterday, I logged in my account and I noticed that there was ANOTHER job listed in my profile that I had not applied for. The position is kind of a step up from the previous position I had applied for. City center wont even let me apply for two jobs but it seems like someone applied for it for me.

That happened to me as well. I originally applied for prep cook in the main kitchen at Vdara, and now there is another application right under my original one that is still prep cook, but now it says sobella instead of main kitchen.

I went in for my screening back in january, I believe. I went through my Department interview in March and my drug test in May. A month after I took my drug test, I logged on to check my application, and that's when they changed it from main kitchen to sobella. I hope that's a good sign. My job status is "open" and my application status is blank

So my wife just had her drug test today. She is interviewing for Inventory Coordinator at the Spa at Aria (sp?). I hope that is good news. When she called the number yesterday to schedule her drug test the guy that answered, and routed her call, said that was very good news and to not hangup even if the transfer takes a while.

She said at the drug test today it sounded like she had pretty much gotten the job. Does anyone know if this is the case or if multiple people might still be in the running? What is the next step? It sounds like it might be another interview to negociate compensation, benfits, etc.

Also, does anyone know what this job might pay? I am having problem finding salary infromation online about "Inventory Coordinator". It is a salaried position if that helped. What is the minimum salary that MGM Group would offer for someone that gets a salary? What are the normal benefits, etc.

Thanks. On a side note. My wife also has an interview tomorrow at "Three Square" - a local food bank. They are expanding their operations and hiring a lot of new people (basically doubling their size from 35 to 70). If anyone is intrested contact them and submit a resume I guess.
