Is the position still listed as available.. In other words, can someone still apply for it? So to answer your question, yes and no... Yes you are still in the running for the job but no it is not secured to you yet.. that next applicant can take it away..

City Center Spa Positions
Has anyone else applied for a job in the spa??? I think I read 1 person who applied for "Spa Attendant". I am an "Esthetician". My department interview was scheduled 7/1, but I checked my account on 6/30 and it was already inviting me to schedule an "audition". I thought it was weird to get an invite for a 2nd interview before the 1st interview, but I won't complain! Maybe it depends on your department and this could be customary.
Anyway, my audition will be held at the "Bellagio" on 7/9. I have to perform a facial and a waxing service in 1.5 hrs (including 10 min to set up). If anyone has completed one of these "auditions" please post your experience. I will be back to inform you how things went, and if I am offered a drug test.
Also, I live on the east coast so I am having to pay for a SECOND roundtrip flight!!! I hope it will be worth it. Let' all cross our fingers and sing "kumbaya" for City Center.

After the drug test I checked my status and it was "Open" and "Active". Just checked it right now and it only says "open" under "APPLICATION STATUS" their is nothing. The job I applied for has not been on the site for awhile.

It still shows me as active, and that I had the initial checking of qualifications. I applied as Front Services Dispatcher at Vdara.

FYI....if you are an internal employee you DO NOT need to take a drug test...so dont get discouraged that you didnt get called
They are only calling NEW HIRES to complete drug tests.

I also did an initial interview in March, and they called me last week to do a drug test today (hair). They stated that it's not a guarantee that we got the job, but 1 step closer in the process. They handed out those cards with the hiring timeline, and it stated job offers will be extended in September. I applied for a food & beverage position. There were about 30 people doing the same things as me in the 20 minutes I was there.
