There is nothing like a constant fly in the ointment to irritate things. Negative people should not spread their feelings to others whom are trying to stay positive. You know who you are.
This thread is on the city center hiring process. Anyone can post any information they wish as long as it relates to the thread, and there are no personal attacks.

It just seems to me that you attack folks in an indirect way only to put down hopes. Why is that?

ok gang.... this is what i think... if you look on craigslist.. there are several outlets missing not only managers but general manager. the GM's will make the final desions on who gets hired... if the gm is not hired yet.. there isnt anyone to offer a job to you. just wait... if we get we get in ... the wait will be worth it.. ALSO... we know the ecomony sucks... i think aria and some other outlets are hiring as late as possible for their managers to save on their salaries..... most of us have not be passed over.. they are just not ready yet.. be patient

Yes yes, we all know the odds and don't need to be reminded in a way that makes others feel bad. No attacks, no bad feelings. We just want good positive stuff at this point and time. There are so many people that have found this thread, and use it as there only means of sanity in this bleak economy of job prospects.
Thanks for listing...

Yes, Airics beat me to it. Being the realist that I am, I think in a different way than some of the people in this thread. With a less than a 1 in 4 chance, people should hope that they get hired, but expect not to be hired. Think about it...If I go to the casino and place a large bet on 9 numbers off the roulette wheel, most likely I am going to lose, so I should be expecting it. I am happy every time I hear that another member has been hired by City Center. However, some people here consider themselves already hired and are going to experience a big let down.

Thank you. You have clarified that beautifully. Hope for the best and expect the worst are words for me anyhow to live by.... Thanks.

I call city center job center to check my status. They say status active still being considered for cash team member. They said 09/21/09 started the cash team member offers and just little more backroung info left. Also the manager should be calling. They told me not to worry and be patient. How does that sound good or bad?
