Hello all,

My wife and I are moving to Vegas at the beginning of Sept. She is an RN and we are looking to find out if there are any hospitals that have relocating programs.
The reason is that I was laid off 3 months ago but we were already planning to move there anyway. Also the cash is kinda tight and we wnat to take advantage of any programs we can get.
We will be living at my parent's house at Rhodes Ranch so rent is not an issue. We still have to pay mortgage for our condo in Chicago as we can't sell it if out lives depended on it. I'm thinking of short sale real soon.
Any help is appreciated....Oh and the winters in Chicago definately has an impact on out decision....

Thanks.

Why would you NOT Google Las Vegas hospitals and contact them directly?

We did but it directs us to a recruiter. Is that the way to go? Does anyone have any experiences on this program? I know there will be some contractual obligations to the hospital, but for how long? Up to how much are these places willing to assist? Is the relocation cost a reimbursement or do they assist up front?
I guess I should've posted these questions, and I'd rather we hear from experience than recruitment sites that makes everything sound peachy.

The Hospitals owned by Univeral Health systems may still have a program but I'm not sure. It's been 8 years since I moved out here and the program may have been cut. The HCA facilities do not. Catholic Health West may also have a program but I'm not sure.
