I've only been to Tao and Pure but had an amazing time at both. We bought front-of-line passes for a couple at vegas.com for a reasonable price and didn't have to deal with a general line (though when i go with a big group of people like i will next time, will try the general line). We just wanted the sure thing and didn't want to wait long.

Also, I hate overpaying at the bar, so what we did just before Pure was buy in $100 at 1,3 no limit at the poker room (conveniently right next to Pure), played tight poker and drank 3-5 drinks while sitting there. They let you order 2 drinks at a time at Caesars, other casinos you can only order 1 at a time.

Default Re:

I agree with all above posts. I went to Jet at the Mirage just once, and wasn't thrilled about going, kind of forced to by a visiting friend who had VIP admission. I ordered a round (3 mixed drinks), $55.00 after tax and 15% gratuity. I could have bought two bottles of Skyy Vodka for myself at home including the mixers! What a ripoff!

However, if you enjoy clubs of this nature, Jet had two rooms, one old school 80's, and the other was top 40 hip/hop. The room in the back has a foam machine that randomly blows foam into the crowd under blinding strobe lights. Nothing like foam parties on Spring Break in Cancun, but it was definitely different. Be prepared to line up early though to get in if you don't have a VIP pass, and walking through the crowd with a drink is next to impossible without spillage.

If you wanna see a celebrity, go to PURE, Lavo, Tao. I prefer Voodoo Lounge at the Rio because it's on the top of the hotel, with a panoramic view of the strip. If you go early enough, there is not a ton of people to deal with.
