I'm and RD with Davita. I make $24.00/hr, peanuts. It took me 4 months to get the job. Most places never call you back.

How does one become a diabetic educator anyway? I am already a RN and want to add this interesting specialty to my skills.

Well, we now live in Vegas. My wife got a FT job as a dietitian. Once she renewed her CNSC certification, she got a job. In fact, she has a FT and Per Diem position. Thanks everyone for posting.

Is it because we are from LA, so they want no part of us. Anyone work in hospitals in Vegas?
