I worked for the company that did their pest control before and after they changed them to condos. Roaches bad!!! We had a customer there last year, and she eventually moved out. They had German Roaches.

When they do the conversions, they are basically just changing some of the cosmetic appearances of the units, but mostly with cheap cover-ups.

Do they still have roaches after the upgrades?

They upgraded the roaches to the massive roaches. Now they tell YOU what to do and they sleep in your bed while you sleep on the floor.

Default actual resident

I can only guess this pest guy is commenting on an isolated incident with a particular unit. I have lived in Avila Park for over four years now and I can't say I have seen a single roach. I have had no pest problems whatsoever. The only thing I don't care for about the community is the guest parking spaces being on the opposite side of the community from my unit. I wish there were more near me. The grounds are very well kept, the pool is always clean. The staff is courteous. It's all around a great place for the money.
