Smoke just arrived from California.........
Smelled leaves burning, security says it's those California wildfires. Anyone experienced with this here? Any weather forecasters, who can tell us how long this will last? That really wasn't the kind of California smoke I had in mind.

I have dealt with wildfires before up in Alaska, how long the smoke lasts depends on lots of things, wind, the fire itself (put out, which way it burns, etc.), weather conditions here, rain (ha!).
Main thing is everyone needs to keep an eye out for anyone they know that has breathing problems. This stuff is killing me right now, but indoors with A/C running is okay.

Yep, it is killing me right now as I have asthma too. It is like a big giant cigarette is burning, and I can not get away from it.

Every time the arsonists and others try to burn up California, we always get the smoke. So until the fire's are put out, it rains or gets super windy blowing it all out, we are stuck with it.
I was only out in it for 15 minutes yesterday, and I had trouble breathing. My lungs hurt, and i don't smoke.
Makes interesting sunsets though. That's about the only good thing about it.

Hopefully it will be Nancy Pelosi's property burning.
I love the smell of democracy in the morning... It smells like....freedom.

I couldn't beleive how thick the smoke is, I moved here from Montana to get away from forest fires, that is how I got asthma along time ago. We really need a wind to blow this stuff out but I guess that if it does that could mean CA gets wind to and makes the fire worse.
