Diamonds, Engagement Rings and Fine Jewelry at Tower Of Jewels

A great place to buy a used Rolex.

There are 2 or 3 other jewelry stores in that same small area. Check them all out. You can also check out the pawn/jewelry stores off Fremont St.

There's one in particular I have been doing business with for years. Owned by a guy named Paul. It's N of Binions I think and next door to the jerky store.

This is where I'd go. These guys are hoot. It's the only "reality" show we'll watch in this house. I've seen people I know and trust on here giving them expert advise on some of the things they want to make offers on. They get a lot of Rolex watches.

Pawn Stars - History.com

It's a funny show too...sort of like Antiques Roadshow meets Orange County Choppers.

+1, if you remember one episode, the old man bet big hoss that he couldn't sell a nice 2-tone Rolex for $5-6,000 where the watch retails for $10,000. Old man lost that bet easily.

Then last nights episode had a stolen Rolex pawned there and Metro had to take it back as stolen property. Rick was pretty mad at that one.

Dude, that's a spoiler post. I haven't watched last night's episode.

I've got three of them on my DVR. We're working our way through Weeds season 2 right now.

It is difficult to get a discount at an authorized Rolex dealer. Yes they give them but remember, they take a chance on loosing their franchise if they get caught. One other thing to remember when buying an expensive watch is you have to pay local sales tax if you walk out with it. Buying out of state from an authorized dealer will save you sales tax. For that reason I've purchased mine out of state. My last one I bought in Belgium and came out very good (large discount + VAT return)

Next week I'll have a brand new Rolex submariner new from a watch dealer I know. Long story, but he wants something i have and so He's giving me two. SS & Black face, standard submariner.

Retail ~$7500 he's trading me at $6500, I'll sell for 6k.

PM me if interested.

Sorry Buzz, my bad. That part was only the first minute of the show. Wait until you see the homemade "weapon", you'll get a good laugh.

That's a good price, my wife paid $5K for mine at Bellagio and I paid $9K for her Yachtmaster 2 years ago. That 2 tone I saw on Pawn Stars was sweet looking
