Smile coming back to Vegas

hi there, my hubby and I are coming there in October and this is our 5th visit in the past 3 yrs.
We have done the strip and the Dam, what we are looking to do is something off the strip with a little adventure...can anyone who lives there give us some ideas?
I am thinking within a 50 mile radius?

Thanks
all advice is welcome

You can go horse back riding. They have areas around Mt. Charleston and by Bonnie Springs.

Indeed they do, it always takes me by surprise to see them landing on the pad right next to I-15 just south of the airport.

You could also look into the Grand Canyon helicopter tours. The skywalk is finished and although it is outside of the 50 mile radius, I would imagine that it wouldn't take to long by chopper.

Default Re:

I would do some hiking up at Mt. Charleston, Red Rock Canyon, possibly even Valley of Fire. Also, check out Bootleg Canyon Flightlines. A series of zip lines across the canyon, for around $150.00/per person.

Default Things to do near Las Vegas

Go out to Boulder City and do this: (Careful, there's loud audio when you open the link)

Bootleg Canyon Flightlines

And if you're here the first weekend of October go to this after your ride:

bch | Find information on the hospital Foundation.

It's a really nice event.

You could also go to the Valley of Fire State Park:
