I've been hot air ballooning five times, back in the Napa Valley, and went for a glider ride once. The best thing about those rides? I got to do all of them for free.  How high do you go on the tether, and for how long? |

its 500 feet , i do not know how long.... the strat doesnt have "strip view"

Nope. I hot air ballooned over Napa Valley - it was a nice experience, but after a 20 minutes or so, I got kinda bored. Now ballooning over an Africa savannah - that would captivate me.

Hmmm...if my memory serves it has some very nice strip views. Probably as good as the baloon...just from the other end. |

nope, you are too high iMO..You are looking down on the strip.. the best shots would be as the balloon is rising 100-200 feet.
