So how is the job? What do you think of it?

The hours would be easy for me. I'm a night owl anyway. I will start calling earlier. Thanks!

It's seasonal. Filling customer orders. Lots of packing and walking to collect items.

If you are good, it is not seasonal, they intend to keep 20-30% of the integrity people... There are several jobs that you do.... Stow - product off of truck to shelf Pick - take product off shelf, take to sort Rebin (sort) - Categorize items prior to pack, divide single item or multi- item Pack - single (1 item) or multi (several) Scan - scan the packed box Sort - packed box to correct delivery method Problem Solve - any problems go here..
The job is decent but stressful, if your numbers are not high, you are walked off the property and terminated... If you call in sick, you are pointed... If you are late by 1 minute from break, you are pointed.. 9 points and you are terminated...
As a packer, your numbers are 100 single items boxed and shipped per hour or 175 multis.. Talk about a back ache.... but as i mentioned before, it is a job and in this economy, i'm thankful to have it.....If something better comes along, i'd switch in a heart beat....

Airics,
I hope it works out for your, and you become permanent. However, for me, I can tell I would not even last one day there.

I have an interview Tuesday at Williams Sonoma in Primm for a seasonal sales job. Yes, it's a long drive for small money but I figure I will come out ahead because I get about 55mpg. And that's an employee discount I would love to have.
