Best local casino to play for cheap?
I'm still fairly new to town and my family is coming to visit Vegas for the first time. They want to play, but not lose a ton while learning the various games. Most places seem to have a $5 minimum bet. Does anyone know of any local casinos with $2 blackjack tables? Thanks.

The Sahara has $1 Blackjack tables. Slots of Fun might still have $1 tables. The lowest I have ever seen at the locals casinos has been $3. If you do not mind playing Blackjack on a machine, Aztec Inn has 1 penny Blackjack.

Re:
There's a casino off of Sunset Road near Boulder Highway, I believe called Skyline Casino or something. They have $2.00 BJ, and $0.10 roulette.

Tell 'em to loosen up - we need the revenue.
Slots-a-fun has $3 craps, and maybe < $5 blackjack. Terrible's in Primm has $2 craps.
Sahara has $1 blackjack, but only during certain hours.
Poker is always an option, too. Many poker rooms have a $2/$4 limit game going at any given time. There are a bunch of cheap tournaments, too. Joker's Wild has one for $25, Luxor has one for $20, and there are many in the $40-$70 range.

Oh, that won't be a problem. They don't mind losing, as long as they can have several hours of fun versus losing it all real quick.
Thanks to everyone for the tips.

I'll second the Golden Gate. Although I play a different game there, just video keno. Still the most winning place in town.
I also would have said Slots a stink (Slots o fun) before, but they removed all the nice winning keno machines and replaced them with a bunch of slots that I don't play, so no use going there anymore for anything.

That's the Klondike Sunset on Sunset near Boulder. $2 2-deck blackjack with great rules. The Sahara $1 blackjack has rules that are so horrible (even money pay on blackjack for instance) that's it's not worth it. Also, in Henderson El Dorado on, I believe, Water Street, has $3 blackjack, 2 deck, good rules. Even Fiesta in Henderson has $3 blackjack during the day..
I know all this because I recently had guests in town who were looking for cheap games.

I've never tried video keno but I'd like to learn. What's your strategy?
