At my local Costco and BJ's, they sell Regal movie passes for about $17 for 2 tickets. If this theater accepts the passes with no other fees for regular shows (non-3D or IMAX) you could go for a bargain. They usually let you upgrade to 3D or IMAX for a few dollars more. Occasionally they also sell 2 tickets and a $10 concession card for about $25

Those types of theaters are not the greatest place to watch a movie, IMO. I found the servers coming in and out to be distracting and found that other people in the theater were much more relaxed as though they were at home due to the food. As a result, much more talking and noise.

What's the "normal" price for a movie in Vegas?

Exactly. I've found Tueday deals to be the best, $5 or less, depending on which you go to. Avoid rush hour.
