I think you're talking apples and oranges, and frankly I don't know what the he** you're talking about. When did anybody say anything about a dealer? We're saying that the fly by night dude is obviously unethical and not to be trusted. So that leaves you with places that people recommend from experience as doing a good job and not cheating you. The insurance is paying for it anyway.

we're talking picnic table and legitimate bodyshops here...NOT necessarily dealers....I have not had an automobile in a dealership in 40 years......but I also have not had one in a flybynite unknown shop either.
